The Digital Worker Field Guide · Free
Get the business out of your head.
Your business runs through you — every follow-up, every handoff, every “did anyone deal with this?” We build digital workers that run the day-to-day for you, under your control. The free guide shows you exactly how.
“Your team goes home at 5. Your brain doesn't.”
What's inside
15 minutes. Worth your time.
What a digital worker really is
Not a chatbot, not another app to babysit. A teammate that does the operational work — and checks with you before anything that matters.
10 workers you can build
The real roles one can run — collections, follow-ups, scheduling, reporting and more — and which to hand over first.
Start as a coordinator
Get the business out of your head first — safely. Turn it up to act on its own, one job at a time, as it earns your trust.

Why this, why now
This isn't early-adopter stuff anymore
of business software will have these workers built in by end of 2026 — up from under 5% in 2025 (Gartner)
productivity lift in a peer-reviewed study of 5,000+ reps — the bigger jump for the newest staff
of small businesses using AI report higher revenue; 86% see better margins (Salesforce)
The part that matters: Gartner expects 40% of these projects to be scrapped by 2027. The ones that fail chase "fully autonomous AI." The ones that work scope it tight, wire it into real tools, and keep a human in the loop — exactly how I build.
How it's built
Reliable by design, not by hype
You talk to it like a person — a message, a voice note, a photo of an invoice, a forwarded PDF. Under the hood it's built in reliable pieces, not one black box that wings it:
Wired into your tools, tested on your real data — not a demo.
Small actions that do one thing, the same way every time.
Those combined into complete, end-to-end jobs.
It reasons, remembers your context, and improves.
It acts — messages, emails, updates — within your rules.
“Your first digital worker live and doing the job we agree on within 30 days. You only pay for the build once it's live — and if it's not live by day 30, I keep building, free, until it is. You keep everything either way.”
Who's behind it
I'm Sam — not an agency, not a guru. An operator who got tired of being the bottleneck in my own businesses.
I run a recruitment firm, among others. Every one ran through me — so I built digital workers to take the operations off my plate. I'm building Next Lean to do the same for other founder-led businesses, and I'll tell you straight which parts are worth handing off and which aren't.
How working together works
From a 30-minute call to live in 30 days
30 minutes. We find the one thing worth getting off your plate first — and I tell you straight whether it's worth building.
We pin the exact worker, your tools, your rules, and what “done” looks like — on a one-page checklist we both sign.
Wired into the tools you already use and tested on your real data. You don't manage anything; you watch it come together.
It runs, you approve anything that matters, we tune it. Live in 30 days or I keep building free until it is.
Questions
Straight answers
What exactly is a digital worker?
A teammate that does the operational work — except it's software. It's wired into the tools you already use and runs the repetitive day-to-day (chasing follow-ups, surfacing what needs you, updating records), and checks with you before anything that matters.
Is this just an AI agency or a chatbot?
No. Not a chatbot you go talk to, not a generic “AI agent” let loose. It's built for your business, runs specific jobs, and you decide what it's allowed to do on its own.
What does it cost?
Most founders start around $1,500 to set up plus ~$600/month for a worker I build and run. Fully custom or private setups start around $10k. We pin the exact scope on the fit call — and I'll tell you what you actually need.
Is my data safe?
It proposes; you approve anything sensitive. It runs on top models under business terms that don't train on your data, gets the least access it needs, and you can export everything anytime. A private, on-your-own-box option exists for sensitive data.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You talk to it in plain language — a message, a voice note, a photo, a PDF. I build and run it; you just approve and watch.
What happens after I get the Field Guide?
You read it (no spam, ever). If it's a fit, book a free 30-minute call. No pressure — if a digital worker isn't worth it for you, I'll say so.
